This information has been provided to you previously by the OPCC for Dyfed Powys – a copy of their response has been attached to the email and is named FOI OPCC 32-2022 response doc.

Response 694/2022:

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does not have an autism custody toolkit, however  awareness training is given to custody staff.

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, the details of which are as follows:

• Twelve (12) officers and staff of Dyfed-Powys Police are members of the National Police Autism Association

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, the details of which are as follows:

• As at 30th June 2022, a total of 11 Police Officers declared they had 1 or more neurodiverse conditions such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, the details of which are as follows:

• Dyfed Powys police are not currently providing mandatory training for officers and staff, this is because we are currently developing an up to date package, when produced this will be mandatory training and will be completed by all officers and staff of DPP.
