Appeal | Child dies following Llanelli collision

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving following a fatal collision at the Heol Goffa crossroads in Llanelli.

The incident, which involved a blue 3 series BMW and a blue Vauxhall Vectra, occurred at around 9pm yesterday (Friday, October 8).

Sadly, a child has died as a result of the injuries they sustained in the collision. Specialist police officers are providing support to their family.

The arrested woman was travelling in a separate car to the child. She remains in police custody at this time. There were no other casualties.
