Q3) I can confirm there is no data held by Dyfed Powys Police, as we do not record this information in any way. A caller may be advised at the time of calling that this is not an appropriate use of the 999 emergnecy number, if the call handler feels it is appropriate, but it is not recorded as a statistic by Dyfed Powys Police.
Q4a) There is no information held by Dyfed Powys Police in regards to the longest wait time, as this statistic is not recorded.
Q4bi) In regards to 999 calls. This information is not held by Dyfed Powys Police, due to the way that the 999 system works we don’t hold this information on our systems, a 999 call is a BT process, so we do not record this information. (Please note, BT will ring the force 999 call handling centre, for a maximum of 2 minutes, then try the same force call handling centre on a different line for a maximum of 2 minutes, then they will divert the 999 caller to a neighbouring force call handling centre).
